The World Domination Collective is a local boardgame club based in Upper Hutt, New Zealand. We get together once a month for an evening of utter madness to cap off a long hard working week by either saving or destroying the known universe. Your fate is in our hands, so wish us well.
To date we've staved off zombie invasions too numerous to mention, the endless and ever persistent invading hordes of hell, the occasional greedy and unscrupulous business tycoon, and most recently saved the city from an outbreak of oversized reptiles that were bent on tearing city streets and buildings apart as they ruthlessly devoured the innocent meeples cowering inside.
Through this site we'll keep you posted of our adventures so that you may sleep a little easier at night known we have your back, and also to introduce you to a range of games you may not have been aware of. If Monopoly and Cleudo are all you think of when someone says the word "boardgame" then this site is for you - a lot has changed since the 70s (it's not all for the better: gangsta rap and miley cyrus for example) but when it comes to boardgames the advances are astonishing. And FUN).
And if you're in the neighbourhood, drop us a line and drop on in.
BYO doomsday device, loyal henchmen and chips and beer to share...
